Push Bikes has organised a Zoom session with Adam Tranter (the Cycling and Walking Commissioner for the West Midlands), and you would be most welcome to join us
We will be presenting a paper on the new structure of the Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) called Walk Cycle Play and show how we will work as an umbrella to support Push Bikes and other relevant groups who are working towards the implementation of Active Travel measures across the City and the West Midlands. This will be by Zoom, so please ask for an invitation using the contact form.
Push Bikes holds an online meeting every first Thursday in the month, when we discuss campaigns and more. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you would like to do so, please ask for an invite to the meeting.
In view of the need to avoid unnecessary contact during the COVID-19 pandemic, Push Bikes meetings are likely cancelled until this date, with meetings organised as necessary via Skype (please contact us if you have something you would like to raise).
Ordinarily we meet to discuss our campaign work and form strategy on the first Thursday of every month. Normally meetings are held in the café area at the Midlands Arts Centre in Edgbaston, just off National Cycle Route 5.
Come along to the West Midlands Labour Cycles Summit, where we will hear from the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Tom Watson MP, the Leader of Birmingham City Council, Cllr. Ian Ward, and several other speakers
