Sustrans invite you to join this on line meeting to hear more about air quality in Birmingham and what is being done to improve it. Any resident from Birmingham is welcome as well as community, voluntary and faith groups and their members from the city.
We will look at the impact of Covid-19 on air quality and the plans for a Clean Air Zone. We will talk about Birmingham’s emergency transport measures, how they will provide ways to keep us moving and reduce the pollution created by vehicles.
You will get a chance to ask questions to our panel and meet lots of other people interested in improving air quality in Birmingham.
We’ll be joined by a range of speakers, including:
Councillor Zaffar - Councillor for Lozzels and Cabinet Member for Transport and Environment, Birmingham City Council
Steve Arnold - Head of the Clean Air Zone
Everyone who joins will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two refurbished Ridgeback hybrid bikes, or an air quality monitor! Every attendee will also be given access to Webinars and information on Air Quality to learn more about the topic and share with friends, family or other members of your community or faith group.
