Socialising and Leisure

Space for Cycling Tory Party conference ride (David Weight / CTC - the national cycling charity)

Push Bikes has an active social aspect, with organised rides and more.

CycleBirmingham, Push Bikes' social side

CycleBirmingham is our social rides group, meeting every week. Details are on the Organised Rides page.

Urban Explorer Routes

A series of leaflets describing rides in the Birmingham area.   The rides are on quiet roads, off road or on cycleways & towpaths etc. There is parking near the start and the distance is around 6-15 miles.   For families, it's easy to shorten the route as required.

Birmingham Greenways

Birmingham has a large network of off-road routes, if you only know where to look.

Q-Net

A network of tolerably car-free routes.

Organised Rides

There is a range of group rides available to cyclists in and around Birmingham, but those who are just starting out on cycling or who are getting back in the saddle after a long break may prefer something gentler.
