Push Bikes Supports RoSPA's Family Safety Week

James Cracknell

The purpose of this Family Safety Week is to encourage more people on to their bikes for the countless benefits that cycling offers, not least health and environmental, but to do this we need to ensure as a nation that people can do so without fear. The website is a useful resource for advice and information for cyclists and drivers to improve safety for cyclists.

The launch event on the 2nd March with Martin Roberts (BBC1 presenter) and James Cracknell (double gold Olympic medallist, pictured), was held at Queensbridge School in Kings Heath. Pupils from the school found out more about safer cycling through a range of practical activities and information from organisations including Birmingham City Council, Push Bikes, DBS Law, and the Home Retail Group.
