An entrance into the centre of Dordrecht for cycles and mopeds. The uncontrolled crossings work because there is only a single lane of motor traffic to cross each time. This is at the end of a street that is one-way for motor traffic, but has a bi-directional cycle track. Note the pedestrian crossing - it is right next to the road mouth with no lights and no zig-zag lines. Pedestrians have right-of-way on this crossing and all vehicles (cycles included) must stop for them. Pedestrians have their own crossing space and are only crossing short distances in each section, so that it is easier to fit through gaps in the traffic.
