Leicester City Council has placed a line of wands along the left-most lane divider of the westbound A47, and created space for cycling. The world has not ended; motor traffic on the A47 is still flowing. However, now cyclists can feel safe using the A47, and as more and more people cycle, so there will be less and less need for wide roads and bloated junctions.
