State of the Art Cycle Path

State of the art cycle path
This wide, unidirectional cycle path runs between two towns alongside a road. There is a similar path on the opposite side. It is made from low rolling-resistance concrete, which requires noticeably less effort than bitmac. It is laid in sections as long as can be laid in a day, and after the concrete has set an angle grinder is used to create expansion joints over which a wheel will roll smoothly. The light colour makes it easier to see the path at night if there is no street lighting. Note how it curves around behind the petrol station to eliminate conflict with cars.
