Whilst Birmingham City Council never seems to take into account non-standard bikes, Push Bikes does. This is Push Bikes member Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen's vehicle, The Red Baron. At 2.1 metres in length and described by the baron as what "must be the least appropriate bike for riding in Central Birmingham", it fits even on the narrower end of the Broad Street traffic island that a council officer described as being too narrow for a bike. Here's a list of other non-standard bikes compiled by the baron's best friend Kim, all of which would individually fit on the island with room to spare: https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=79449.msg1630898#msg1630898 (we can't put a clickable link in this description so you'll have to copy and paste that web address yourself, or use "Open link" from your browser's context menu.
