A short distance from the Spring Hill roundabout it looks like the cycleway continues on both sides, but the left-hand side only goes as far as the shops. To get to the roundabout it's necessary to cross here. However, the toucan crossing for this crosses all four lanes in one stage, and it's easy to make the turn into the crossing and have a good view of the motor traffic in both directions because the cycleway is behind the footpath on both sides. The delay at the crossing could be less, but it's not terrible.
