The local Labour Party is organising this meeting to bring together residents who have an interest in cycling. You might be someone who has cycled every day for many years or you might only get out on two wheels every once in a whiles. It might be that you haven't really started cycling yet, want to and it would be great to understand what would make a difference for you. Cycling infrastructure is improving in Birmingham but more can be done.
Cllr Liz Clements, the Birmingham Cabinet Member for Transport will be joining us along with local councillors. Kerry Jenkins, David Barker and Lisa Trickett to share information on the present strategy and ideas for the future. Most importantly we want to listen to you. Following the meeting we hope to have a set of actions which together with local residents we can work on. More opportunity for safe and practical cycing is an important part of making our local area greener, healthier and enjoyable.
This online event is free, but you will need to reserve your place.
