Elmwood Ride in aid of the British Heart Foundation, Sunday 10th May 2009

The ride raised just over £4500 in 2008 for the British Heart Foundation.

A choice of two routes of approximately 16 and 30 miles. The starting at Wren Hall, School Lane, Wroxall, CV35 7ND.

After the ride you can tuck into a well deserved free Ploughman's lunch. From 2:30pm to 5:00pm we will be serving tea and locally made cakes and gateaux at very affordable prices, again in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

Bike Week 14-22 June

Birmingham City Council's free family cycle day, which is part of National Bike Week, will be held at Sutton Park on Sunday 15 June, 10am to 4pm.

Families will be able to:

cycle three special routes around the park which are 2km, 5km and 10km long

have a go on a selection of weird and wonderful bikes

watch a special cycling stunt show

enter a competition to win a brand new bike
