The Bike Project is a charity that takes unwanted bikes, refurbishes them, and then donates them to refugees and asylum seekers in London and Birmingham. They also run community cycling programmes to support refugees after they receive a bike from them. Push Bikes is happy to support their work, and our members have donated old bikes to them.
They are currently are in need of bike donations in Birmingham, with hundreds of refugees on their waiting list for a bike. They have local drop off points in Birmingham where you can drop your old bike, to be given a new loving home. If you have one to donate, this is where you start.
