The Birmingham Cycle Revolution team would like to know about local civic centres (eg shopping parades) outside the twenty minute isochrone that lack cycle parking. The 20 minute isochrone is the area centred on the city centre that can be reached with up to twenty minutes of cycling, and broadly corresponds to the area within the A4040. Money has been found to provide cycle parking at these centres, but the BCR team would appreciate your local knowledge so they know where the stands are needed.

Birmingham City Council is considering highway improvements to address road safety concerns on Bristol Road South, Bell Hill and Shenley Lane.   They would like to hear your views on these preliminary proposals. The Council has been allowing taxis to use the bus lane along the Walsall Rd, A34, bus lane since Nov 2007 as a twelve month experiment. Similarly, motorcycles have had use of the Alcester Road, A435, bus lane.

The Council have asked Push Bikes to submit our views as part of the consultation process, closing date 20th June.
