Cycle Birmingham is the social side of Pushbikes, with regular rides to coffee shops and pubs across the city.
Want to do more cycling but worried you won't be able to keep up? This is the ride for you - there's no average speed, we go at the pace of the slowest person, and sometimes even slower than that because we've stopped to take a photo or just won't stop gassing. Or someone has ridden into a bollard and fallen off (that only happens occasionally).
The rides usually start at Cannon Hill Park, at the picnic tables at the back of the MAC, or outside Moor Street Station and use routes that are along mostly quiet roads, side roads, canals and off road wherever possible. Most routes are suitable for most bikes, but if you have really skinny tyres you might want to check it out beforehand.
Here are the rides coming up:
Wednesday 27th June, 7:15pm
The Wednesday social ride
Meet at the back of the MAC by the picnic tables from 7:15pm for set off at 7:30pm. It's picnic time! Every year we have a picnic, so pack your panniers full of food and drink (alcohol optional) and dust off that picnic rug. The highlight of the Cycle Birmingham summer!

Friday 29th June, 7:00am
The Friday coffee social
Another Friday morning, another chance to get up really early and drink coffee. What more could you want? Apart from a lie in. Meet at Wayland's Yard in the city centre for coffee, chat and probably lots of yawning.
