Wednesday Evening Rides

The rides are around 10-15 miles to a pub for a leisurely pint.

We usually meet at the Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) in the seating area behind the main building at 7:30 pm for a 7:45 start. Directions here

Many rides are along unlit lanes in the countryside.
Adequate lighting is essential.

There's often a station close to the destination or early on the return for those who would like to go back by train.

In the winter months, the rides may need to be changed as the weather forecast becomes clearer: see our CycleBirmingham Facebook page for latest details.

Planning your ride

Let us know you're coming

It's a good idea to email pbrides@pushbikes.org.uk to let us know you're coming & if possible include your mobile number. If you are delayed getting to the start we can wait a bit. If there are late changes or cancellation we can text you.

Return Journey

Riders tend to break off as we get closer to home, but we'll make sure you get back to home territory before you're on you own.

If you need to leave earlier, email pbrides@pushbikes.org.uk and we can try and organise some company on the way home.

Joining PushBikes Rides

All Push Bikes rides are free, open to members and non-members.

PushBikes Urban Explorer Routes

A series of leaflets describing rides in the Birmingham area.

The rides are on quiet roads, off road or on cycleways & towpaths etc. There is parking near the start and the distance is around 6-15 miles.

For families, it's easy to shorten the route as required.

Ride leaflets can be downloaded from the explorer page
