Campaigning to get Birmingham in the saddle
Birmingham has done much for cycling, but there is still a lot to do. We currently have several campaigns in progress and are in frequent contact with local councils over cycling issues whether raised by cyclists or matters the councils contact us about, as they believe they might affect cyclists and therefore ask for our views.
Joining us gives you an opportunity to also be consulted when new things are planned which are likely to affect cyclists and cycling in Birmingham and Solihull - as we are as keen to campaign for cyclists there too and get Solihull in the saddle.
You can join as an individual or a family.
Subscription:

PushBikes AGM: Wed 21/5/08
Another successful AGM.
Special thanks to the PushBikes Rides Group who turned up in strength. Brian got a round of applause as he arrived and made the meeting quorate!
The highlight of the evening was the plan to convene a Campaigns group led by Howard Boyd and John Bennett and a Membership group chaired by Neeraj Malhotra. The basic idea is to provide forums for members to participate flexibly.
If it's going to work, communication has to be revolutionised.
As a start a Message Board has been set up for members. Anyone can view posts but only registered members can post. You can register online.
Please give it a try & help make PushBikes as effective as groups such as the Cambridge Cycling Campaign.
