These plans are part of the city centre highways proposals consulted on in spring 2018 as part of the changes to Broad Street. As the labels show, while pedestrian crossings are included, there is zero provision for people on bicycles. This is despite a cycle route along the pavement here having been approved several years ago. So, where do the bikes go?
