Birmingham Bikeathon

Cycling to beat blood cancer
Sunday, July 5, 2015 - 10:15

Birmingham Bikeathon, starting and finishing in Cannon Hill Park. There are 3 lengths of rides - 26, 52 and 100 miles. For more details see the Birmingham Bikeathon website.

Organised by Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, in conjunction with the CTC, British Cycling and Birmingham City Council.

Sustrans have a Bike-Life Birmingham project between 12pm and 5pm, where they will be asking participants about their cycling experiences in and around Birmingham. Participants will get a free reflector-light, and a photo taken of you and your cycle, which will be sent by email afterwards. This event is part of the research that Sustrans is doing for Birmingham City Council about the state of cycling in Birmingham, doing a report in 2015 and again in 2017, to see what changes are taking place.
