To celebrate 25 years of the Rea Valley Cycle Route we will cycle along it from the City Centre to Longbridge (with additional joining point at Cannon Hill Park).

  • 11:00 set off from Victora Square in front of the Council House
  • 11:15-11:25 approx Park Keepers House entrance of Cannon Hill Park off Edgbaston Rd

Celebrate at the Spotted Dog with Rides from the Suburbs

This month marks 3 years since we relaunched Pushbikes Rides as CycleBirmingham within the wider Push Bikes family. It is also the birthday of one of our members this month and so we will be celebrating at the Spotted Dog, Warwick St, Deritend/Digbeth , B12 0NH from around 8.30pm on Wednesday 30 Sept.

Multiple rides have been organised to get there from around Birmingham.

Please have working LIGHTS fitted before the rides and BRING LOCKS for the use in the yard or street at the social venue.

Vintage Ride 2015

Dress to impress and cycle to St Paul's Square for a picnic. Once everyone has feasted sufficiently we all go for a ride around the city centre in our best vintage togs, getting waves and smiles from pedestrians and even motorists as we ping our bells and toot our squeak toys. The ride ends at a public house, of course, but the festivities carry on.

The aim is to encourage people who are not regular cyclists to get on their bikes for easy and sociable outings.  On average we have around a dozen riders each week.  Routes are mostly traffic-free, exploring local paths and parks.  We try to avoid hills, the pace is very gentle and new riders are welcome.  If you have a rarely-used bike in the shed, or you're not confident about riding on your own, or you just fancy some fresh air and gentle exercise, come and join us.  We offer friendly advice to those with concerns about their cycling skills or their bikes and, i
